Leonardo Express: easiest for Termini
Trenitalia’s Leonardo Express is the simplest public transport option when your hotel is near Roma Termini or when you need to connect to a high-speed train. The service is non-stop and currently takes about 32 minutes. Trenitalia lists the standard single fare at €14 and describes departures as generally every 15 minutes.

Fiumicino FL1 regional train: better for some neighborhoods
The FL1 regional line is often a smarter choice if you are staying near Trastevere, Ostiense, Tuscolana or Tiburtina. It does not run directly to Roma Termini, which is why some visitors overlook it. Ciampino by ATAC bus and metro
ATAC lists bus lines 520 and 720 among urban services covered by its normal Rome ticket products. These links connect Ciampino Airport to the metro network, making them one of the cheapest airport transfer options. The trade-off is handling luggage on normal city transport and making a transfer.
